In June 2021, LGM Engineering and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding signed a general contract for the LNG gas supply system for four 190,000DWT dual-fuel bulk carriers. This is the second series of ship orders for LGM Engineering and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding.

The complete set of LNG gas supply system equipment will be delivered to Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding in March 2022. The shipowner is U-Ming Shipping, which is classified into DNV classification society.

This type of ship is a new generation of dual-fuel bulk carrier, with better economic advantages, meeting the latest standards such as IMO IGF Code, NOx TierIII, SOx 2020 and EEDI Phase Ⅲ in 2025, and performs better in environmental protection.

With the ever-improving environmental protection standards and regulations, LNG-powered ships will gradually occupy a larger market share. According to market demand, LGM Engineering continuously researches and upgrades the system; The acquisition of this order also further demonstrates LGM Engineering's strong brand influence in the field of LNG FGSS.
