CCB Financial Leasing won Seaspan's 8 container ships project xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-06-29 17:03

CCB Financial Leasing and Seaspan Corporation, the world's largest independent owner of container ships, signed an agreement on the chartering project of eight container ships with a total value of US $900 million.
 
The signing of the project is another harvest for Chinese leasing company to explore the international shipping finance road together with international shipowners and marine high-end equipment manufacturing industry; It is also an important achievement of CCB Financial Leasing's participation in international ship financing projects by using the innovative mode of offshore leasing in the free trade zone.
 
As of June 2021, CCB Financial Leasing has set up 74 project companies in eastern Xinjiang and completed the leasing business of 100 aircraft and 22 ships.
 
In addition, CCB Financial Leasing completed the first domestic offshore ship chartering and the first aircraft legal and tax financing leasing in eastern Xinjiang, providing a new example for the industry.
