Huanghai Shipbuilding won German shipowner's order for 4 1800TEU container ships xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-06-22 17:07

Huanghai Shipbuilding signed a shipbuilding contract for four 1800TEU container ships with Briese Schiffahrts GmbH & Co. KG in Germany.
 
The vessel has a total length of 172 meters, a width of 28.4 meters, a depth of 14.5 meters, a design draft of 8.5 meters, a deadweight of 24,000 dwt, a service speed of 18.5 knots, and is classified into BV.
 
Briese Schiffahrts belongs to Briese Group, which is a container, multi-purpose and bulk carrier transport enterprise with strong comprehensive competitiveness. Huanghai Shipbuilding's order is Briese Schiffahrts' second container ship order with a Chinese shipping company this year. In April, the company signed a contract to build four 1900TEU container ships with Huangpu Wenchong and China Shipbuilding Trading.
