On May 28, Nantong COSCO Khi Ship Engineering delivered the 81-type 82,000-dwt bulk carrier "NAVIOS AMITIE" built for INDIGO MARINE SHIPPING.
 
"NAVIOS AMITIE" is a flat-deck bulk carrier with a bow. It has 7 cargo tanks and can carry cargo such as grain, coal, and ore.
 
The ship uses an energy-saving electronically controlled diesel engine and uses energy-saving technologies such as Kawasaki RBS-F and Kawasaki SDS-F to improve fuel efficiency.
 
Through the use of energy-saving technology, the ship has reduced fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, fulfilling the requirements for ships in the second phase of EEDI regulations.
 
"NAVIOS AMITIE" has a total length of 228.90 meters, a width of 32.24 meters, and a depth of 20.20 meters. It has a full-load draft of 14.50 meters, a gross tonnage of 44,175 tons, and a cargo capacity of 97,745 m3. The main engine is a MAN B&W 6S60ME-C8.5-TII diesel engine. The ship is classified into the ABS and registered under the Panama flag state.
