SPDB Financial Leasing completed the delivery of the first overseas new shipbuilding project! xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-04-15 15:10

On April 14, 2021, SPDB Financial Leasing, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, and MSC held the delivery ceremony of "MSC APOLLINE" by means of tripartite video.
 
After long-term marketing, the project was officially launched at the end of 2019, and the contract was signed in January 2020, involving three 23000TEU container ships with a total contract amount of about 430 million US dollars.
 
This is the first cooperation between SPDB Financial Leasing, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, and MSC.
The ship delivered this time is 385 meters long, 61 meters wide and has a total tonnage of 228,700 DWT. It can carry 23,000 20-foot standard containers, making it one of the largest container ships in the world.
 
MSC is the world's second largest container liner shipping company, with a fleet of 577 ships and a total capacity of 3.85 million TEU.
 
The balance of SPDB Financial Leasing assets has exceeded 10 billion yuan, reaching 10.244 billion yuan, with a fleet of 60 ships.
