SITC orders eight feeder vessels hongkongmaritimehub 2021-03-11 10:53

In the wake of a 50% increase in net profits for 2020, announced just two days ago, Hong Kong-listed SITC, an intra-Asia liner operation, has ordered eight containerships from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding including four 2,600 teu ships and four 1,800 teu vessels. The total price of the vessels is believed to be around US$192m.
According to VesselsValue data SITC currently owns a fleet of 81 ships and has a further 14 vessels on order at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.
