On December 15, Evergreen Marine delivered two 12000TEU F-Type container ships, which will be put into service between Asia and the United States, to seize the opportunity of soaring freight rates in this round.

The two new ships are "Ever Forever"built by Samsung Heavy Industries of South Korea and the "Ever Far" built by Imabari Shipbuilding of Japan.

The length of Evergreen's F-Type container ship is about 334 meters, which is more flexible in entering and leaving ports and berthing docks compared with the super-large ships on the main Asia-Europe route. With a width of 48.4 meters, the deck can carry 19 rows of containers, with a total of 12,118 TEU, a design speed of 23 knots, and a fully loaded draft of 15.5 meters.

Evergreen Marine has made advanced deployments in fleet planning and has delivered 16 new container ships this year, including seven 12,000 TEU F-Type ships and nine 1,800 TEU C-Type ships. The hand-held orders include 10 24,000 TEU A-Type ships, 13 12,000 TEU F-Type ships, 14 2,500 TEU O-Type ships and 16 1,800 TEU C-Type ships, with a total of 53 ships expected to be delivered by the end of 2022.

In the future, as new ships are put into operation, Evergreen Marine will gradually replace the old owned ships and return the expired chartered ships, so as to continuously update its fleet and strengthen its market competitiveness.
