Dalian Shipbuilding Industry held a signing ceremony for two 85,000 dwt bulk carriers.
The contracted project is the follow-up product of the same type of 10 85,000 dwt bulk carriers in 2019. Compared with the 85,000 dwt bulk carriers under construction, some systems have been upgraded or adjusted.
This type of ship is 227.2 meters long, 36 meters wide and 20.35 meters deep. It is a Post-Panama shallow draft bulk carrier.
Compared with the traditional Kamsarmax bulk carrier, the ship has a shallow draft, larger capacity, better portability and economy, and meets the requirements of the latest effective regulations and has a strong market competitiveness.
