"SafeCrew" Goes Live–Crews safe back home and safe to work xinde marine news 2020-11-20 15:24

The prevailing unresolved issue of having sea crews stranded on vessels or in their home countries has not just caused hardship and pains to the helpless crews, but also inflicted all ship owners, and ship and crew management companies with huge operating costs.

Driven by passion and belief to make “Safe Crew Change” happen, Captain Milutin Gojkovic – Managing Director of ALPES MARITIME Consulting (AMC), a Captain on vessels for decades,  has architected the end-to-end “SafeCrew Platform” by deploying proven remote health monitoring technology using FDA-grade sensor devices, artificial intelligence and smart apps to track crew’s healthiness Shore-Sea-Shore, starting at crews’ home town once they are hired, continuing on the vessel and until returning to shore.  Health status certified by medical doctors are securely analysed, stored at private cloud and pre-distributed to port and health authorities at discharge ports as well as ship owners and crew management companies for easy monitoring and onshore clearance.

“SafeCrew Platform” is empowered by “SafeCrew Consortium” established on 15 November 2020 which comprises of AMC, DynoSense, and EVVO Labs from different regions of the world.

Pilot run will be carried out soon with ship owners and port authorities and result will be reported to International Chamber of Shipping.  SafeCrew Consortium is fully ready to offer this sustainable and effective solution for the collective benefits and welfare of crews and ship owners, ship management companies and port authorities to address various regulatory and management requirements.
