On November 2, another 180000 DWT capesize bulk carrier "SHANDONG DE GUANG" built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding of CSSC ushered in the glorious moment of named delivery.
"SHANDONG DE GUANG" named and delivered on the same day was the seventh ship of the 180,000 DWT capesize series bulk carrier co-operated by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and Shandong Shipping. The ship has a total length of 292 meters, a molded width of 45 meters, and a molded depth of 24.9 meters. It is classified into CCS and meets the requirements of IMO Tier III and HCSR.
The ship has excellent performance and environmental protection, and is equipped with a hybrid scrubber and SCR system, which has the characteristics of low energy consumption, safety and reliability, and its comprehensive performance has reached the international leading level.
