CIMC launched Asia's largest multi-purpose ro-ro ship xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-10-20 16:59


On October 19, the 2700-meter-lane multi-purpose ro-ro ship "BO HAI HENG DA" built by CIMC Raffles for Bohai Hengtong Ferry was successfully launched in Longkou plant of CIMC Raffles.
 
"BO HAI HENG DA" is the second ro-ro ship launched by CIMC Raffles following the delivery of its first sister ship "BO HAI HENG TONG" in September. It has a total length of 189.9 meters, a width of 26.4 meters, a deck height of 15.4 meters, and a 3-meter wide lane of about 2700 meters, which is the largest multi-purpose ro ro ship in Asia.
 
"BO HAI HENG DA" is one of two multi-purpose ro-ro ships built by Bohai Hengtong Ferry at a cost of 410 million yuan. It is the sister ship of "BO HAI HENG TONG". It is also the largest, safest and most advanced multi-purpose ro-ro ship in Asia designed and built independently in China.
