The announcement of Ministry of Transport, General Administration of Customs and Ministry of Foreign Affairs on strengthening the prevention and control of COVID-19 on ships and crew for international navigation is as follows:
 
1.The content of this announcement is applicable to all international ships that intend to enter China.

2.This Announcement applies to ships changing crews at a port or place before entering China and within 14 days before arriving in China, the crew members who change shifts and board the ship shall complete the nucleic acid test of COVID-19 within 3 days before boarding, and shall board the ship with the negative nucleic acid test certificate of COVID-19. The test should be conducted in an institution designated or approved by the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad.

3.Ships applicable to this announcement shall submit duplicate of the negative nucleic acid test certificate of the crew on board the ship at the previous port or place of arrival in China and within 14 days prior to arrival in China through its shipping company or its shipping agency as required.

4.Ships applicable to this announcement violate the requirements of this announcement and the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, which may cause the ship to leave the port in China or hinder its operations. If the circumstances are serious, the ship may bear administrative legal liability according to law. Those who do not hold or hold a false COVID-19 nucleic acid test negative certificate to come to China, and cause the spread of COVID-19 epidemic in China, or are in danger of causing the spread of COVID-19 epidemic, will be liable for criminal liability according to law.

This announcement shall come into force on the date of its release.
