On September 11, 2020, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding made a major breakthrough in the independent research and development of ship type, which ushered in another good news for the company to receive orders.

On the same day, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong and China Shipbuilding Trading signed a contract for the construction of 2+2 1900TEU container ships with T.S. LINES.

Huangpu Wenchong has many years of experience in container ship construction. The 1900TEU container ship signed this time is independently developed, with a total length of 172 meters, a width of 27.5 meters, and a structural draft of 10 meters. It is planned to serve in the southeast Asian region.

This type of vessel is the fourth-generation BangkokMax new container ship product. It is also the first time that the company has received batch orders for container ships independently developed by the company, which is a major breakthrough in the company's high-quality development.
