CSIC Won the Bid for the Bauxite Inspection and Testing Project of Chinalco in Guinea xinde marine news 2019-11-20 14:37

On November 15, China Standard Inspection Co., Ltd. (CSIC), a subsidiary under COSCO SHIPPING Logistics, received the letter of acceptance for the bauxite inspection and testing project of Chinalco in Guinea. As a third-party inspection and testing authentication platform, CSIC will provide services of bauxite shipment weight survey, bauxite sampling and sample preparation, and bauxite quality inspection at the Port of Boffa in Guinea.

During the bidding, CSIC carefully organized early-stage field surveys, established the operating process and service standards, and stood out from a good many rivals with its intelligent integrated inspection and testing solution.

The successful bidding marks a further step taken by COSCO SHIPPING along the shipping value chain in order to become a world-class one-stop supply chain service provider. It is an outcome of intensive management adopted by COSCO SHIPPING Logistics in consolidating its tally and inspection business and exploring overseas inspection and testing operations. Through winning the bid, CSIC has exerted a key practical effort to transform from the traditional development mode to the “project-based development mode” that relies on long-term source of bulk goods.
