President of CMES visits CPC Corporation, Formosa Petrochemical and Yang Ming Marine Transport xinde marine news 2019-09-23 13:56


Mr Wang Yongxin, President of CMES, and his team was invited to visit Taiwan by CPC. They visited the CPC Corporation, Formosa Petrochemical and Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation. Mr Hu Bin, Assistant to the CMES President and General Manager of AMCL accompanied Mr Wang.
 
In their meetings with CPC and Formosa Petrochemical, Mr Wang gave an overview of CMES’ fleet of oil, bulk, LNG and special cargo carriers, the current state of the crude oil VLCC, refined products and LNG fleets. He emphasized that CMES is dedicated to creating a world-class shipping enterprise with core competencies, promoting developmental strategies such as “Big Client” and “Global Operation”. In addition to a world-class fleet scale, CMES also seeks to develop world-class operation, management and service, providing safe, effective, high-standard and personalized services for clients with stringent and scientific management. He expressed that CMES hopes to work closely with cargo owners and achieve mutually beneficial results.
 
Petroleum companies in Taiwan welcomed Wang’s team warmly and expressed their appreciation of CMES/AMCL’s development philosophy, as well as AMCL’s management quality. They discussed standards and requirements for safety and management, and expressed that they hope to increase their cooperation with CMES and AMCL.
 
Mr Wang also visited Yang Ming Marine Transport, which comes from China Merchants, sharing the maritime history of China Merchants, and expressed that CMES will continue to carry on the historical tradition of China Merchants while ushering a new era of glory.
