1.China’s accomplished shipbuilding output in the first half of this year stood at 19.66 million deadweight tonnes, up 4.2 percent year on year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
 
2.Russian natural gas producer Novatek announced the closing of the sale of participation interests in Arctic LNG 2 Project to subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, subsidiary of CNOOC, and the consortium of Mitsui & Co and Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (Japan Arctic LNG).
 
3.Canadian energy company FortisBC entered into its first term supply agreement to produce LNG for Hong Kong-based Top Speed Energy Corp. to export to China, representing a first in Canada’s LNG export industry. This was made possible by the completion of the Tilbury LNG expansion project in Delta.
 
4.The world’s largest cargo ship, the MSC Gulsun, sailed into Yangshan Deep-Water Port, the world’s largest automated container port, early Saturday.
 
5.China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), the country's largest oil and gas company, reported a 10% year-on-year increase in gas production during the first half of 2019 and the volumes accounted for 70.3% of the country's total natural gas production. 
 
6.In the week ending Jul-19, Ningbo Containerized Freight Index (NCFI) issued by Ningbo Shipping Exchange (NBSE) quotes 643.1 points, slightly.
 
7.China Cosco Shipping Corporation and China Mobile signed a strategic collaboration agreement in Beijing on Friday.Under the agreement, the two groups will start a series of collaborations in areas including 5G smart applications, cloud computing, supply chain and equity investment.
 
8.China Ocean Industry Group says that subsidiary Nantong Huakai Heavy Industry, has received a judgment from the People’s Court of Rugao, Nantong, Jiangsu province related to the bankruptcy.
