Security Level of Chinese Flagged Vessels to Malacca Strait Raise to ISPS level 3 xinde marine news Anita Liu 2019-07-03 10:01


The Ministry of Transport of People’s Republic of China has agreed to heightened the security level to ISPS level 3 for all Chinese flagged vessels that are currently transiting or having the intention to transit through the straits of Malacca, starting from July 2nd 22:00 and will end on further notice.
 
The related shipping companies shall, in accordance with the requirements of the circular, immediately upgrade the security level of related ships, implement the requirements of the security plan and take corresponding security measures.
