1.Russian shipping major Sovcomflot, along with compatriot gas producer Novatek and Silk Road Fund have signed an agreement with China COSCO Shipping related to transportation of hydrocarbons from Russia’s Arctic zone.
 
2.China's looming pipeline reform is poised to spur competition in its natural gas industry, lowering prices and supercharging demand from the world's top importer in years to come, according to Credit Suisse Group. 
 
3.Combined expectations among Chinese manufacturing and service-sector companies for the year ahead – particularly smaller, private-sector firms – dropped to the lowest level on record in May as the escalating US-China trade war eroded firms’ confidence, according the latest Caixin Purchasing Managers’ Index published on Wednesday.
 
4.Taiwan's Yang Ming and the Canadian Pacific Railway have signed a three-year agreement to move Yang Ming cargo to and from North America, via the Port of Vancouver.

8.A crane collapse incident took place at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding’s Yangzi Xinfu yard this morning.According to local reports, the crane fell onto a bulk carrier under construction at the yard and caused damages to the front starboard side of the vessel.
