1.The world's largest passenger-cargo ro-ro terminal project, Xuwen Port transport hub in Zhanjiang, south China's Guangdong province began to install its steel frame structure on May 20.

3.China's cargo shipment via railways registered a strong growth of 10% in April compared with the same period last year, showed data from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). 
 
4.China's crude oil futures settled higher on Thursday. The most active contract for July 2019 delivery gained 0.08 percent to 476.1 yuan per barrel, data from the Shanghai International Energy Exchange showed. 
 
5.Chinese shipyards seem to be dominating the current global ship repair industry, with eight ranking among the world's top 10 ship repairers in business volume this year, according to the latest data from authoritative global research firm Clarkson Research Institute. Two of the shipyards are from Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province.
 
6.China’s Guangdong Energy Group has reportedly purchased a couple of spot cargoes of liquefied natural gas for delivery to CNOOC’s Dapeng LNG facility in which it has a stake. 
 
7.China's ports have handled just under 4.3 billion tonnes of cargo from January through April, according to the Ministry of Transport.Of that, 1.38 billion tonnes, or 32 per cent, was foreign cargo. Meanwhile, China handled 82.3 million TEU. 
 
8.China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), China's largest oil and gas producer and supplier, built a surface gas drilling & transmitting system at Sichuan Basin in southwestern China, according to a meeting held on May 28.
