Jiangnan Shipyard will sign large orders worth $1 billion

On October 25, China State Shipbuilding Corporation released the announcement that Jiangnan Shipyard, a subsidiary of CSSC, signed letters of intent for several major contracts.
 
According to the announcement, Jiangnan Shipyard signed letters of intent with relevant shipowners to build 6 new ships worth about $1 billion.


According to the announcement, Jiangnan Shipyard signed a letter of intent for the construction of two 175,000 m3 large LNG carriers worth about 460 million dollars with a Singapore shipowner, and the expected delivery date is before the end of July 2027.
 
At the same time, Jiangnan Shipyard also signed a letter of intent for the construction of four 98,000 m3 VLECs worth about 540 million dollars with two Hong Kong shipowners. The expected delivery dates are before the end of October 2025 and the end of January 2026.
 
If the above contract intentions are successfully implemented, it will have a positive impact on the future operating revenue and profits of CSSC, which is conducive to improving the medium and long-term market competitiveness and profitability of CSSC.
