On August 31, under the witness of Liaoning Province, Dandong, China Merchants Group, Liaoning Port Group and other parties, Dandong Port Group was formally established.

According to the application of creditors, Dandong Intermediate People's court ruled in April 2019 that Dandong Port Group should enter into bankruptcy reorganization procedure.

Through the combination of public recruitment and directional invitation, Liaoning Port Group of China Merchants Group has become the restructuring strategic investor of Dandong Port Group.

Based on its own location and resource advantages, it will continue to improve the port's production capacity, digitization and informatization level, innovate business operation mode, and strengthen cooperation with relevant enterprises of Liaoning Port Group and China Merchants Group.
