The contract covers both basic and detailed design work for four confirmed units, with an option for up to eight additional 9,350 CEU class methanol dual-fuel PCTCs. Prior to this engineering contract, Deltamarin had already executed the outline and contract design of these vessels.
Scheduled for delivery starting in the second half of 2026, these innovative PCTCs prioritize energy efficiency and are designed to utilize alternative fuel sources, such as methanol, upon delivery. Moreover, their design allows for future adaptation to ammonia once it becomes available in a safe and secure way.
