The platform, unveiled at the Dishui Lake International Shipping Innovation Conference, marks a significant milestone in Shanghai's ongoing commitment to innovation and policy advancement since establishing its pioneering free trade zone in Pudong New Area a decade ago.
It serves as China's first platform to provide comprehensive services throughout the entire lifecycle of shipping companies. This includes policy consultation, business settlement, and tailored services.
The platform encompasses five integrated service functions: enterprise registration, policy consultation, public services, financial services, and legal services.
Under the theme of openness, innovation, and integration for advanced shipping services, the conference emphasized the establishment of efficient shipping service clusters.
Extensive discussions were held regarding the transformation of shipping through digitization, green practices, and low-carbon initiatives. The conference aims to promote the high-quality development of the international shipping service industry.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by more than 30 industry insiders from international organizations such as the International Chamber of Shipping, BIMCO, and the London Maritime Arbitrators Association.
