Chery will build a PCTC construction base

On January 28, Chery Wuhu shipyard Weihai Green Marine Technology Industrial Base project was signed.
 
The Chery Wuhu shipyard Weihai Green Marine Technology Industrial Base project relies on the Chery's automobile export advantages and the urgent production needs of Wuhu Shipyard. Leading products such as 6,000-car PCTC Ro-ro ships and 80,000 ton Panama-type bulk carriers will be built in batches, with an estimated annual output value of 5 billion yuan.
 
Chery 's revenue exceeded 200 billion yuan for the first time in 2022, the best performance since the company was founded 25 years ago, according to a recent performance report. Chery sold 1,232,727 cars in total in 2022, of which 451,337 were exported, up 67.7% year-on-year.
