At the beginning of the new year, COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) once again won an order for the construction of a 154,000 dwt shuttle tanker from a Norwegian shipowner.
The ship has a designed length of 278.9 meters, a width of 47 meters, a depth of 24.9 meters, and a design draft of 16 meters. It is classified into DNV and meets Tier III emission standards.
The ship is also the seventh shuttle tanker built by CHI (Zhoushan) for the company, and the first five ships have all been put into operation.
