China issued a notice on epidemic prevention and control for ships transiting from international to domestic routes

On November 18, the Ministry of Transport of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the National Health Commission of China, the General Administration of Customs of China and the National Immigration Administration jointly issued a notice on epidemic prevention and control for ships transiting from international to domestic routes.

The notice is as follows:

1. The period of berthing isolation at entry ports for ships transferring from international to domestic routes and health monitoring of all crews shall be adjusted from "berthing isolation for 7 days prior to entry + health monitoring for 3 days" to "berthing isolation for 5 days prior to entry + quarantine for 3 days on board (all crews shall not leave the ship)".

2. Adjust the requirement of nucleic acid detection frequency. The frequency of nucleic acid testing at entry ports for all crews of international sailing ships that are to be transferred to domestic routes will be adjusted from "5 nucleic acid tests in 7 days" to "4 nucleic acid tests in 5 days, in which the customs will conduct nucleic acid testing on the crews on the first day, and the testing units at the entry ports will conduct nucleic acid testing on the crews on the second, third and fifth days."
