On October 10, the "Jiang Yuan Bai He" left the Container Terminal in Taicang Port and was put into operation in the 80 kilometer section between Taicang Port and the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal.
This marks China's first 120TEU pure electric container ship officially put into operation, open Jiangsu inland transport enter the "pure electric era", to achieve the "double carbon" goal is of great significance.
It is expected that by 2025, Jiangsu Province will put in more than 17 pure electric inland container ships, forming six "zero carbon" container routes.
