As one of the leading chemicals shipping companies in China, Nanjing Shenghang Shipping Co., Ltd. is actively
deploying the international transportation business of hazardous chemicals.
On September 13, Shenghang Shipping announced that the company
intends to buy 100% ownership of two foreign trade chemical tankers named "King Tank" and "King Bay" from King High Shipping Company Limited in Hong Kong. The transaction price is US$11 million per vessel, and the total transaction price is US$22 million.
Shenghang said that it was in line with the company's long-term strategic plan to meet the actual needs of international hazardous chemicals transportation business.
By the end of 2022, the number of ships owned by the company will increase to about 30, and as the capacity continues to grow, the number of ships is expected to increase to 50 by the end of 2025.
At the same time, the company plans to invest 6 foreign trade transportation ships by 2023, and the number of ships to be put into foreign trade operations will increase to 18-20 by 2026.
