On August 18, Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation announced that it had ordered 18,600 containers, with a total transaction amount of $95 million - $105 million. In March, Yang Ming bought 20,000 containers for $110 million to $120 million.
The total cost of the containers of Yang Ming in March was about NT $3.288-3.587 billion. This time, this batch was about NT $2.84-3.13 billion, with a total investment of more than NT $6 billion.
Most of the container quantities announced by the company include 20 and 40 foot containers, but they are converted to the public announcement of 20 foot containers, and it will take about 2-3 months from ordering to delivery.
