On August 7, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group released its financial report for the first half of 2022. According to the announcement, in the first half of 2022:
The group's revenue increased by 70% to RMB 9.7 billion compared with the same period last year, and the core shipbuilding revenue increased by 78% to RMB 8.5 billion; In the first half of 2022, the number of ships delivered reached a record 35.
Shipping revenue increased by 37% year-on-year to RMB 561 million, mainly driven by the expansion of chartering scale and chartered freight.
The Group's goal is to provide sustainable returns to shareholders through continuous innovation in clean energy vessel technology and an expanding charter fleet.
As of the announcement date, the group had secured new orders for 18 vessels of US$1.09 billion, bringing the total order on hand for 134 vessels to US$8.13 billion.
