Chinese yards are gradually resuming production

On May 23th, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., LTD., completed one ship delivery and two ships undocking after one week resuming work.
 
So far, CSSC's three Shanghai shipbuilding enterprises, Jiangnan Shipyard, Hudong -Zhonghua and Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding have fully resumed production.
 
The 209,000-ton Newcastle dual-fuel powered bulk carrier "Mount Nova Terra", a liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel powered bulk carrier built for Singapore EPS Company, was delivered that day.
 
The "Mount Nova Terra" is a sister ship to the "Mount Tourmaline", delivered earlier this year. The bulk carrier is classed by the American Bureau of Shipping, with a length of 299.50 m, a width of 50 m, a depth of 25.20 m, a design draft of 18.40 m and a design draft speed of 14 knots. The bulk carrier is powered by LNG and conventional diesel fuel, and is equipped with two C-type LNG fuel tanks with a gas range of 20,000 nautical miles.
 
The two ships undocked are also greatly improved.
 
It is reported that within this week, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding will finish the construction of two 7,000 TEU container vessels, one 114,000 ton Avra type refined oil tanker start working and two 190,000 ton Capesize bulk carriers launch from dry dock.
