ABS has expanded its global network of sustainability centers of excellence to China, with the addition of a fifth base in Shanghai.
Located in key maritime hubs across the world – Athens, Singapore, Copenhagen, Houston and now Shanghai, the centers offer industry leading support in a range of sustainability disciplines.
The Shanghai Sustainability Center, led by Tao Shen, ABS Manager, Sustainability Development, focuses on advancing vessel innovations, providing carbon economics expertise, developing ESG strategies and supporting in acquiring green finance. The center is designed to extend ABS sustainability support to serve the wider range of maritime stakeholders, including shipowners, financial institutes, shipyards and designers.
