COSCO: Fee reduction in Shanghai during epidemic

On April 21, COSCO Shipping released a notice on fee reduction during the epidemic in Shanghai. Before the lockdown is lifted and normal order is restored in Shanghai, the following fees will be reduced:

If the original bill of lading has not been issued, the alteration service fee will be exempted if telex release or sea waybill is required.

For those who apply for signing documents in other places to other domestic branches of COSCO Shipping, the fees for signing documents in other places will be exempted.

If the original bill of lading cannot be returned and subsequent import release is affected, the electronic bill of lading can be issued after the original bill of lading is returned by other domestic branches of COSCO Shipping, and relevant service fees will be exempted.

If the original port of discharge is Shanghai and the port of discharge needs to be changed due to the impact of the epidemic, the service fee for port change will be exempted.
If an order is placed through SynCon Hub and cannot be shipped on time due to the epidemic, the performance bond will be exempted.

Additional demurrage fees due to epidemic containment in Shanghai will be exempted.
