Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering, a subsidiary of CIMC ENRIC, and CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited signed a contract for the construction of a 12,000 m3 LNG bunkering vessel worth RMB 441 million.
The ship has a total length of 132.9 meters, a width of 22 meters, and a depth of 11.8 meters. It is a LNG transport and bunkering ship.
It is estimated that compared with traditional fueled vessels, LNG powered ships can reduce the annual emissions of sulfur oxides, particulate matter by 100% and nitrogen oxides by 90%, while reducing fuel costs.
