Sauer Compressors strengthens its position in Southeast Asia

Kiel, Germany. Sauer Compressors has announced a company acquisition. As of January 1, 2022, the manufacturer of high-pressure compressors based in Kiel, Germany, takes over all shares of its long-standing partner Pall Marc Group in Singapore.

Sauer Compressors is the world's leading manufacturer of high-pressure piston compressors for gases and pressures of up to 500 barg for the commercial shipping, naval, general industry and petro industry. The company has maintained a successful distribution partnership with Pall Marc for more than 40 years. The distribution and service company Pall Marc is an established player in the shipping and naval markets in Singapore. Customers include the regional navies as well as the leading international commercial ship owners, shipyards, oil rig builders, and other industrial service operators in Southeast Asia. With the integration of Pall Marc, the globally operating Sauer Compressors Group aims to expand its activities to the industrial market and other Southeast Asian countries.

"Taking over a functioning company is a bit costlier but brings quick success, thanks to the synergy potential", comments Harald Schulz, CEO of Sauer Compressors. The previous owner family of Pall Marc will remain associated with the company. As Residence Director, Marc Lee will be a board member of the new company named Pall Marc Sauer Compressors PTE Ltd. Singapore is the group's 14th location worldwide.
