
On October 18th, General Administration of Customs released the latest monthly statistics on China's imports and exports in September. Statistics show that in September this year,
China exported 369 ships, a year-on-year decrease of 6.3%, with an amount of 12.79979 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3%. In the first nine months of this year,
China's cumulative export of ships was 3,698, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%, with a value of 105.29502 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.8%.
In terms of specific types of exported ships, in September this year,
10 tankers were exported with a value of 3.40238 billion yuan. The number of ships dropped by 28.6%, but the value increased by 36.5% year-on-year.
From January to September, China's tanker exports reached 99, a year-on-year increase of 39.4%,
and the amount reached 23.93311 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.7%.
In September,
China's export of container ships reached 8 vessels worth 1.11038 billion yuan, the number of vessels increased by 60% year-on-year, and the value fell by 41% year-on-year. From January to September,
China's export of container ships reached 75 vessels, worth 17.10692 billion yuan, an increase of 150% and 129.9% year-on-year respectively.
In September,
China's bulk carrier exports reached 25, worth 5.1011.0 billion yuan, the number of ships increased by 4.2% year-on-year, and the amount dropped by 19.4% year-on-year. From January to September,
China's bulk carrier exports reached 183, with a total of 36.90408 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 7.6% and 16% respectively.
