Over 30 industry-led and public events will be organised by over 40 local and international organisations in the HKMW 2021. From headline-making conferences, in-depth forums, and seminars to industry visits, competitions, games and tours, the region's premier maritime congress will help unite and showcase the strong maritime cluster in Hong Kong.

The first business event for the HKMW this year is the "World Ocean Summit Asia-Pacific Insight Hour" to be hosted by the highly-regarded The Economist. A hybrid event with a physical panel discussion, The Insight Hour will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in the morning of 1 November. Proceedings will also be aired live to global audience.

The Hong Kong Shipowners Association brings a maritime perspective to Hong Kong's most important long term economic development when it presents the Greater Bay Maritime Forum in the afternoon of 1 November at HKCEC. Themed,"A Turning Point in the New Era", the four-hour forum will seek to position Hong Kong in the Greater Bay Area plan, with a special focus on the further enhancement of Hong Kong as an international maritime centre.

HKMW's signature event, the two-day Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference on 2-3 November, offers a broad focus of the issues impacting all components in the logistics, maritime, aviation and supply chain.
