This month China Crew's Remuneration index continued to rise. Many domestic shipowner enterprises choose to adjust seafarers' salary in August and September according to the market situation, and some enterprises have raised seafarers' salary significantly this month.
In terms of positions: The salary of senior seafarers has increased significantly, most of which have increased by more than $100, and the highest increase is the electrical engineer of dry bulk carriers. Most of the salary increases of ordinary seafarers are within $100, and the boatswain of bulk carriers has the highest increase.
In terms of ship types: Seafarers' salaries on container ships rose significantly this month. Senior seafarers all saw their salaries rise by more than $100, with the biggest increase being $253 for captains. The average seafarers' pay rose by less than $100, with the biggest increase being $75 for boatswain and motorman.
Seafarers' salaries on dry bulk carriers have risen obviously this month. The salary increase of senior seafarers generally exceeded 300 US dollars, and the most obvious increase was for electrical engineers, reaching 367 US dollars. The salary increase of ordinary seafarers generally exceeded 100 US dollars, and the most obvious increase was boatswain, which reached 124 US dollars.
This month, the salaries of oil tanker seafarers have all been raised. Most senior seafarers' salaries have risen by more than US$100. The most obvious rise is second officer and third engineer, reaching US$242. The salary increase of ordinary seafarers was within US$50. The most obvious increase was boatswain and motor man, reaching US$37.
This month, the salary of chemical tanker seafarers has maintained an upward trend. The salary increase of senior seafarers has exceeded 100 US dollars. The most obvious increase is fourth engineer, which reached 274 US dollars. The salaries of ordinary seafarers all increased by more than US$50, with sailor and motor man rising the most, reaching US$104.
