On the afternoon of July 29th, "MU LAN", the first ship built by Hudong Zhonghua for CSSC Shipping's LNG project, overcame the influence of super typhoon In-fa, completed the gas trial in 14 days ahead of schedule and safely stopped at Changxing No. 0 Base Terminal.
A lot of adjustments have been made to the IAS system program of the first ship, and some new problems have appeared in the actual operation of the system, which has brought a lot of trouble to the trial voyage.
In the face of difficulties, the sea trial team was not discouraged, actively coordinated with the service provider to discuss and research, and finally successfully completed various tests and inspections, ensuring that all gas test projects were submitted for inspection within 9 days, setting a new record for the company's LNG ship gas test project.
The return of the gas trial means that the "big test" before the delivery of the LNG carrier has been completed and the delivery is entering the final sprint. The project team said that they will continue to uphold their excellent work style and timely rectify the owners' inspection opinions to ensure quality delivery.
