CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering, a subsidiary of CIMC ENRIC, and China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing) signed signed a contract for 4 sets of 2000m ³ LNG fuel tank project.
The four sets of LNG fuel tanks will be used in the four 7000PCTC dual-fuel ro-ro ship project built by Jinling Shipyard for the Japanese shipowner NYK. Each ship is equipped with two 2000m³ LNG fuel tanks (including closed TCS), which are classified into DNV classification society.
Jinling Shipyard has always been among the best in the delivery performance and industry reputation of ro-ro ships, and the number of orders for ro-ro ships currently under construction and in hand is ranked first in the world. This cooperation will lay a solid foundation for the long-term cooperation between the two parties in the construction of clean energy ships.
At the same time, this project is also the second LNG fuel tank project obtained by CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering in the Japanese market after the 2850m³ LNG project in Japan's Oshima.
