CIMC Raffles and Swedish shipping giant Wallenius Lines signed the construction contract of 2+2+2 next-generation 6,500-car dual-fuel vehicle carriers.
The conceptual design of this series of transport ships comes from the industry's well-known Danish design company Knud E. Hansen, leading the market in terms of emissions, ship design and ship systems. CIMC Raffles will carry out turnkey construction and registered under the Swedish flag.
The length of the ship is 200 meters, the width is 37 meters, the loading capacity is 6,500 cars, the service speed is 19 knots; In order to meet the requirements of environmental protection, it is equipped with a C-type LNG storage tank and related gas supply system.
The global trend of emission reduction and low carbon puts forward new requirements for clean energy. Wallenius is proactive in seizing the strategic opportunity of LNG fuel power.
