CSSC's 4 shipyards selected as the individual champion list of manufacturing industry

Four enterprises under China State Shipbuilding Corporation have passed the second batch of "Manufacturing Individual Champion Demonstration Enterprise" review, and 4 types of ships have won the "Manufacturing Individual Champion Product" certificate.
 
The selected four types of ships are: Waigaoqiao Capesize Bulk Carriers; Jiangnan Shipyard Dual Fuel Liquefied Ethylene Carriers; Guangzhou Shipyard International MR Product Tankers; Huangpu Wenchong Offshore Vessels.
 
Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding: Capesize Bulk Carriers
 
Capesize bulk carrier is one of the main types of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, which is independently developed by Waigaoqiao. It is praised by the industry as a successful example of transforming from "Made in China" to "Created in China".

Capesize bulk carrier has experienced 11 types of products starting from the first generation of 175,000 dwt. The typical ship type is the sixth-generation 180,000 dwt standard capesize bulk carrier, which adopts environmentally friendly double hull protection and has a good leading role in energy-saving and low-carbon design.

As the champion enterprise of capesize bulk carriers, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding will closely follow market trends, grasp frontier technologies, focus on research on marine fuel technology that meets future carbon emission restrictions and hybrid power technology for large ships, and gradually participate in the new international maritime regulations. Formulate and update, change from passive adaptation to advance judgment, participation in leading formulation, and to seize the right to speak in the industry.
 
Jiangnan Shipyard: Dual Fuel Liquefied Ethylene Carriers
 
The representative product is the 37,500 m3 dual-fuel liquefied ethylene carrier built by Jiangnan shipyard for Navigator Gas.

The ship, independently developed by Jiangnan Shipyard, uses energy-saving and environmentally friendly MAN B&W dual-fuel main engine and generator, which can meet the most stringent sulfur cap requirements.
 
 
The cargo containment system uses three Type C double ear tanks. In addition, there are two 1250 m3 deck tanks on the deck, which can carry both LNG fuel and cargo, making the maximum tank capacity reach 37500 m3.
 
Guangzhou Shipyard International: MR Product Tankers
 
Guangzhou Shipyard International has been focusing on the design and construction of handysize product tankers since the 1990s, and has a product lineup of tankers with the most ship types, the most complete series, and first-class cost performance.
 
At present, GSI has delivered more than 170 MR product tankers to the world, ranking the top three in the world and the first in China.

At the same time, GSI also makes full use of the experience and advantages in the development and construction of handysize tankers, and actively expands to the research and development of large tankers.
 
At present, it has independently developed 110,000 DWT product tankers, 308,000 DWT VLCCs, etc., which meet the requirements of the latest rules and regulations, green environmental protection and other requirements, and its technical indicators are in the international leading level.
 
Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding: Offshore Vessels
 
Huangpu Wenchong Offshore ship business field includes the construction and repair of ships such as defense equipments, public service ships, special purpose vessels and offshore vessels.

Huangpu Wenchong has built the world's first 1600 dwt deep submersible wind power multi-functional ship, the first intelligent ship, the first all-electric drive dredger, the first 4,000 dwt scientific research ship and other advanced equipment, a number of technologies to fill the domestic gap, further enhance the development level of China's offshore equipment.
