
The fifth STENA E-FLEXER "CÔTE D'OPALE" (W0268), built for Stena RoRo, the world's largest ferry company, was delivered in China Merchants Jinling Shipyard(Weihai) on May 17, six weeks ahead of schedule.
STENA E-FLEXER is one of the first high-end ro-ro passenger ships built and delivered in accordance with the new DNV GL standards. It is the most energy efficient and advanced ro-ro passenger ships ever built in China.
"Stena ESTRID" W0263 was officially delivered on November 15, 2019.

"CÔTE D'OPALE" delivered this time has a total length of 214.5 meters, a width of 27.8 meters, a design draft of 6.4 meters, a design speed of 22 knots, a lane length of 3100 meters, and a passenger capacity of 1000 people.
It meets the latest international standards of 1A ice class requirements and safe return to port. It is equipped with a comfortable design of fin stabilizers, vibration and noise meets the requirements of DNV-GL COMF V(2) and VIBR.
"CÔTE D'OPALE" will leave for Europe in late May, operating between Dover, UK and Calais, France.
