On April 21, China Shipbuilding Trading and Huangpu Wenchong signed a contract for the construction of four 1900TEU container ships with BRIESE, a European ship owner, through "cloud signing".
Since the beginning of this year, Huangpu Wenchong has signed a number of 1900TEU container ship construction contracts in succession. After the signing of this contract, the company's self-developed and designed 1900TEU container ship's cumulative order volume has reached 17 ships.
The ship has a total length of 172 meters, a width of 27.5 meters, a depth of 14.6 meters, a deadweight of 24,000 tons, a structural draft of 10 meters, and a speed of 18.5 knots.
Compared with products of the same type, the fuel consumption per tank is reduced by nearly 8%, which meets the requirements of EEDI PHASE 3.
The signing of this contract consolidating Huangpu Wenchong's leading position in the field of feeder container ship design and construction in the world.
