Construction contracts for 18 4600TEU container ships worth 4.5 billion yuan have been signed by ZhongGu Logistics. After the first order of 10 from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding earlier this month, ZhongGu Logistics has finally placed an order for another eight vessels with its "old friend" Jinling Shipyard.
On February 20, ZhongGu announced that it had completed the contract for the construction of 18 4600TEU container ships.
Among them, ZhongGu signed a contract with New Yangzi Shipbuilding for the construction of 10 container ships and a contract with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing) for the construction of 6+2 container ships. These 18 ships will be delivered successively from the fourth quarter of 2022 to the first half of 2024.
