CSSC Chengxi delivered first 21,500 dwt self-unloading ship to Oldendorff

On January 8, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard delivered the first 21,5000 dwt self-unloading ship "CALYPSO" to German shipowner Oldendorff Carriers GmbH & Co. KG.
 
The ship is 145 meters in length, 34 meters in width and 12 meters in depth. It is classified into ClassNK.
 
The ship is capable of both self-loading and self-unloading, with an unloading efficiency of 2,600 tons/hour, meeting Tier-III emission standards and the latest SOX emission requirements.
 
The ship is the first of two 21,500 dwt self-unloading ships to be built by CSTC/CSSC Chengxi for the shipowner.
 
No.1 21,500 dwt self-unloading ship is another breakthrough after the successful construction of asphaltum carriers, woodchip carriers, chemical tankers and other ship types, which marks the further improvement of the shipbuilding capacity of the company and will establish another beautiful brand of the company.
