KEPPEL Nantong delivers the world's first smart LNG bunkering ship

On January 4,Keppel Offshore & Marine announced that Singapore’s first LNG bunkering vessel "FueLNG Bellina" built by KEPPEL Nantong Shipyard was officially delivered. This is also the world’s first smart LNG bunkering vessel.

"FueLNG Bellina" was ordered by Singapore company FueLNG in 2018 at Keppel Singmarine at a cost of about US $34.7 million to supply LNG fuel to international customers passing through the port of Singapore.

This is the first LNG bunkering vessel in Southeast Asia, and FuelNG will be the first company in Singapore to offer ship-to-ship LNG bunkering services with this new vessel.

"FueLNG Bellina" adopts the MTD 7500ULNG patented design, with a capacity of 7,500 cubic meters and a capacity of 100 to 1,000 cubic meters of LNG per hour. LNG and marine diesel are dual-fuel propelled, and cleaner and safer LNG bunkering activities are implemented in Singapore Port. The entire bunkering process is monitored and executed by a digital platform.

"FueLNG Bellina" is also the world's first bunkering vessel to adopt the "Smart Notation" mark

After delivery, the first contract of the ship will be to provide LNG ship-to-ship bunkering services for the oil tanker chartered by Shell and an LNG-powered container ship of Hapag-Lloyd.
