The steel cutting ceremony of the world’s first 100,000DWT Smart Fishery large size aquaculture vessel (“Guoxin No.1”) was held in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao on 19th December. The vessel will be delivered in March 2022.
“Guoxin No. 1”Length O.A. 249.9m, Breadth MLD. 45m, Depth MLD. 21.5m, Design Draft 12m, and Design Speed 10 knots. It can avoid the harsh weather such as typhoon and red tides and carry out breeding operations in the sea areas worldwide. In total, there are 15 breeding tanks, which can provide 80,000m3 aquatic water. Through water exchange system, the continuous exchange between water in the aquaculture cabin and external natural seawater can be realized. By using deep water intake device, the seawater with appropriate temperature and salinity can be obtained for aquaculture, so as to keep the aquaculture fish in the optimal growth state, thus shortening the breeding cycle and improving the breeding quality.
Seacon Marine Technical Pte. Ltd.
