Ajith PJ, Managing Director, Aries Marine, UAE becomes the youngest member from the GCC region to be honoured with SNAME Fellowship

The Managing Director of Aries Group of Companies, and Founder Chair of Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers-UAE Section,Ajith PJ, has been honoured with the Fellow Status by Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers(SNAME), USA. He is the youngest member from the GCC region to be honoured with this status.

SNAME Fellowship is only accorded exclusively to individuals who have made outstanding personal contributions to naval architecture, marine or ocean engineering through significant achievements in design, research, production, operation, education, or associated management.

An Engineering graduate in Naval Architecture & Ship Building with MBA in Technology Management, Ajith has 20+ years of professional experience in the field of Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. Currently, he is enrolled as Research Scholar pursuing PhD in Port &Shipping. Hehas been working in GCC for the past 19 years, playing a core role in developing Aries Marine as the largest Marine consultancy in the region with more than 1650 Engineers.

Ajith has extensive experience in maritime and also specializes in implementing strategic and operational turnaround in Marine/Offshore Projects. He has worked extensively with various shipyard projects worldwide and had managed projects both as a Project Manager and as an engineering consultant.Ajith has also worked on innovative and novel concepts including Guinness book of world record holding design of world’s longest steel snake boat.He has also been invited to numerous presentations and seminarsin the maritime community to be on the Panellist in the Middle East & Asia Region.
