On July 28, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry held a delivery signing ceremony for the second 85000CBM Liquified Ethane Carrier built for JHW, a subsidiary of France's JACCAR Holdings through "cloud signature".
With a total length of 231.6 meters and a width of 36.6 meters, the 85,000CBM VLEC adopts the world's largest Type C liquid tank, the loading capacity can be increased by 20%.
At the same time, the main engine is equipped with EGR, diesel generator is equipped with SCR and corresponding water treatment system, etc.
The ship is the follow-up ship of the world's first 85,000CBM VLEC delivered by DSIC in March 2019.
All the sea trial projects were successfully completed in only 60 hours, greatly shortening the trial cycle. All the test items have completed ship owner's inspection and acceptance in one time, and the pass rate is 100%.
